2016: triple beep from advanced keyless entry

Yes, the "auto-lock" has to be enabled in the vehicle settings. I did this so long ago I forget what the actual setting is!

2016: triple beep from advanced keyless entry

If you walk around the front of the car, the doors will lock because there isn't a receiver in the hood. If you walk around the rear of the car, the doors will stay unlocked because of the receiver for the rear hatch.

iPhone 6 and the current setup

I have a Galaxy S4 (Sprint), and the text message download works, AS LONG AS YOU DON"T HAVE A LOT OF TEXT MESSAGES STORED ON YOUR PHONE. The CX-5 must download EVERY text message, and it has (seemingly) limited memory to hold all of them. If you have too many, the download will fail. Archive...

(Very) Detailed Comparison: 2013 Grand Touring AWD w/ Tech vs 2015 Touring AWD

It sounds like the mod to the mirrors was only to help the vibration. My 2015 has the older mirrors, and no vibration, thank goodness!

(Very) Detailed Comparison: 2013 Grand Touring AWD w/ Tech vs 2015 Touring AWD

Great write up and info. I'd be interested to hear (pun intended) if there is a difference in wind noise inside the cabin based on the different mirrors.

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

I would recommend moving to the rear channel to see if their is interference. I know it's a pain to get to that connector. You could try the system after disconnecting to see if the harshness has cleared up too.

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

As I listen and adjust my setup, it is sounding better even without the loc. I wonder if the Bose really has separate amps for the dash and front door channels, or just a passive crossover? If it's just passive, there could be some interference from an external connection, I suppose. I don't...

    SCBS kicked in today

Just remember that SCBS doesn't know the road conditions, so it has to assume the road is wet/icy for stopping distance. I'd hope they use the outdoor temp for the possibility of ice.

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

SayNo, First, try switching the polarity on the amp. I had to put mine at 180 even though I made sure to observe polarity. I connected my RF 500 to the low level signals going into the Bose, but used the rear inputs. I'm not totally pleased with that setup. I looked at the signals on an...

If the car is still under warranty, I would have a dealer take a look. It could be a broken clip or something like that...

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

I used a wiring kit from Rockford-Fosgate. It was high quailty, and the red cable at least wasn't neon... I used 4ga. It was a little tight getting that 4ga terminal onto the open battery stud. I also moved my bass level control onto the dash where the switches are left if the steering wheel...

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

SayNo, the panels and covers are pretty straightforward. One of the tricks is the rubber door seal holds the edge of the kick panels right in front of the doors. Pull it up a bit, and that edge is free. By far the most difficult thing for me was getting the power supply wire through the...

Finally! my Aftermarket Subwoofer and Amplifier Integration into Bose Audio How To

Still need to do a little tuning, but the added bass really fills out the sound from the Bose. I need to find a little screwdriver to adjust my amp under the seat!
