I like the brushed aluminum look. What products did you use ?
We were debatting what to do with the shifter letters on a different post. I don’t think anyone had found a better solution to it yet.
They are 1/4” white vinyl letters. They didn’t stick super well until I used a heat gun. They still might end up peeling off but we’ll see.I agree with you. This looks a lot better. What did you use for the letters ? Are they stick on letters ?
Finally made it to Texas. Still 11 days until the new house closes, but this heat is ridiculous. Garages are too small to comfortably get two vehicles in, so I installed a Fortin remote start today. I am limited in the tools I have available right now but it wasn’t a difficult install at all. I’ll probably hook up the parking lights later once we settle into the new house so I can see when it’s on. I don’t know why I included a picture, but it’s the first time the CX-9 was running with the remote start haha

I stayed right behind my wife in her 4Runner using the radar cruise control. It was a very relaxing drive even on the long days. Tires are on their last leg at this point and I still haven’t fully decided on wheels yet!Glad to see that you made it there safely! Any hiccups along the way, or did the CX-9 live up to the "Grand Tourer" title?
They needed a wash. It was deposits of chrome that were stuck to the plasticIn the after bleach bath picture, the trims look like they have a lot of texture to them. Or is it just dry water spots?
Looks great!! Love the tasteful red accents in the grille. Do you know what style/colour of wheels you'll be getting in the future? I think colour-matching the accent pieces in the grille to the wheels would be a nice touch.
I might do the mirror caps, but I like the color matched handles and don’t particularly like a fuel door that stands out so probably won’t be doing thatWould wrapping the door handles and fuel door be too much? I don’t know, if you’re going all in May as well go for the gusto
