Hid lights issues

I'm having some issues with the Hid on my cx-5 touring.

The shop installed two kits, one on the headlights (35 watts) and the fog lights (35 watts)

The right headlight flickers when it's turned on and some times it won't turn on at all. Went back to the shop and they said I needed two relays. Put them on and still having the issue.
Went back again and the guy told me he grounded the right side to a different area.

Still having the issue.

Any ideas what can be wrong?

I should also mention that there is a Kenwood amp installed and a kicker subwofer with a dedicated amp.

Sounds like they need to run the power supply straight to the battery instead of using the factory wiring (if that is what they are doing) or you could have a bad ballast.

Try switching the bulbs around. If it still flickers on the right side then you've got a bad ballast.

I concur, most likely this is the ballast. I've had the same issue in my Mazda 3 with DDM Slim ballast. DDM replaced the ballast under warranty for me.
