First off: Please don't turn this into a ATi vs NVidia or Intel vs AMD thread. Now that I got that out of the way, on to the thread! (2thumbs)

I know a lot of you guys on here are computer guru's. Gaming, web designers, photoshop pro's, etc. How many of you guys build up your own computers? I know some of you have, lets see them!

Here are pics of my current computer. I'm always adding stuff to it here and there so it will always be upgraded as time goes on. As of now, heres how it sits:

That would be a terminal! We STILL have a few of those at my work. They do data entry and thats it... cause thats all they CAN do.

Lets see some of your builds!

I'll take some pics when I get home, but my current setup is..

AMD Athlon X2 6000+ Windsor @ 3014MHZ (200.93 FSB 15x multi--stock clocking)
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
eVGA Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB
4gb Corsair PC26400 DDR800 RAM (Actually runs at ~746 due to weird multiplier on the Athlon) - timings: 4-4-4-12 @ stock voltage
Seagate Barracuda 250GB HDD (SATA II 3 gb/s)
Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD (SATA II 3 gb/s)
Cooler Master Centurion 534 ATX mid-tower
500w Antec "Earthwatts" PSU (pretty much pushing the limits of this psu with the 8800 and the 90nm Athlon, 24a on both +12v rails is a big plus though)

I have considered flashing the BIOS to run one of the new AMD quadcores but have been hesitant for two reasons:

1) power supply - 9950BE takes 140w, even at 65nm architecture :(
2) the m2n isn't a true spider platform board, so I doubt I'd be getting the full benefit of the processor

Anywho. Pics this evening! Note to self: buy canned air..

My comment is due to the amount of toys, you must have money running out your ass.

I need to build a new rig soon mines about 3 years old i'll post the specs and pics when i get home.

Viralphrame, 125w 45nm 2.6GHz to 3.0GHz clocked Deneb's are due out by the end of THIS year (Source). So definitely hold out until those come out. Those SHOULD overclock fairly well.

Very nice setup Mazdaspeed2oo35!

i like the massive cluster of wires you got there.

Thank You, Thank You. I'm not done yet, we just recently move in, i'm going to make a custom Desk for my PC where all of those cables are going to be hidden.. That Desk was A cheap Fast IKEA Desk.. better than having everything in the floor don't you think ?
