Hey Guys!
Im really excited to be part of the group on Mazda247, I recently scooped up a 2002 MP5 and its in immaculate condition. But the only feature I questioned about the car was the shifter with the button compared to the 2003 model with the sleek looking triptronic. I have searched every where on Google and these forums but cant find an answer to my question; Am I able to swap a 2003 auto shifter into a 2002 MP5? IF SO.. would I have to swap the transmission along with a computer component to be able to use the triptronic?
