Why can't some one from South Korea drive a p5?
Post count should have nothing to do with what questions some one asks
I've never seen anyone ask this question before so its hardly beaten to death

Pull the dick out of your ass and maybe you won't be one

Be nice ladies...

Like I said, I've looked high and low for a factory solution to the weak trans and the Mazda 3 tranny isn't it.

why is that whats the different from the internals of the Mazda 3. I'm not trying to find a fix I just came in to some parts from Japan. So i need to fix my transmission cause my input shaft is having shift problems in 1st gear and I think its going to get worse as time goes on. I was just wondering what would be the different and can I put these internals in my gear box I have now.

so these what are these from ??

Those are out of an early model G15M-R gearbox from what I can tell. Would have to see the 5th gear synchro setup to be certain (later models had a revised setup.) Basically, they look to be exactly what you have now.

So far everything matchs up but this is my question to you right. I'm going to add up PAR striaght cut gears to this set up but when you add them do you know if you need new synchros and rings ? or can I uses the older ones plus I was wondering if changing the 3rd and 4th gears to striaght cut gears would it give me prolong life for my cars transmission??

Adding PAR will not prolong the life of the transmission.

If you are running a T25 Turbo, you do not need to install PAR Gears, you will never make adequate WHP to break 3rd (Unless you Gorilla Shift)

If you are going to bother to install PAR gears, Buy the full set from 1-5, dont leave weak s*** mixed in with strong s***.

The G series 3rd gears are pretty weak. Ive shaved one of its teeth so far. This was just a medium ramp into boost, and it just sheered them. Upgraded to a Par 3rd gear, with the Par bearing cups for the shafts.

I thought I heard a while back that a 626 transmission will bolt up. Am I dreaming???
I'd love to have a 6th gear on my P5. I'm not looking to race, and if I wanted to have more top end power, I'd drop into 5th. I'd just like to have better highway fuel economy.
