Boost is set at the wastegate swing valve. Any boost control valve will only keep it the same or bump it up. You need to unscrew the wastegate rod and make it longer. This is why a said you may need to remove it. Sometimes you cannot get to the jam nut.
Nothing has happened, Matt has been doing the show car thing for the last year or more. When he is ready we will be doing a trans, good fuel and bump the boost. Until then he his Happy with the boost and power that he has.
