Popping noise in the rear while turning

Dealer is a 3 hour ride from here. Just looking to see if anyone had some suggestions so when I do go. I might be able to steer them toward the problem easier. I already know they are going to automatically think it is the clunk. And replacing the bushings might just fix this as well.

Popping noise in the rear while turning

I already have 156E's on it. Maybe they are wearing out yet again? It is not the same noise as the infamous clunk. I had that before. This is a little different and occurs under slightly different circumstances. Such as light gentle turning until it pops a few times then it takes more...

Popping noise in the rear while turning

Over the past month off and on a popping noise can be heard from what i am guessing is the rear suspension. When I pull out first thing the uneven pavement in my driveway can cause it to happen. But on the road slight turns can cause it to pop at first. While later on sometimes I can force it...

225/40/17 possible on our Racing harts??

That is an oddball size what kind of tires are you looking at that have that size? They might fit, since the 225/45/17 fit, but with a little rub i hear in the rear i think. I think DistantTea tried them.

    Can Anyone Help Me????

If you want to fight it. I would start with contacting your Attorney General's office. They might be able to help you if you can convince them your modifications were not at fault.

    RX8 Handling VS. MSP Handling

RX-8 pulls the same g's on the 200ft skidpad as the msp, but is slower in the slalom. The RX-8 has more power than we do so I don't think he should have lost by 6 cars, but I don't think he should have spanked you by 6 cars either. I think handling wise the cars are fairly equal will come down...

    oil leak...

They did that to mine tightened the bolt, but it still leaked and in the end was a faulty turbo. Keep an eye on it. Yours is not the first to leak. That is for sure.

    oil leak...

Also out of curiosity is your turbo metal blackened at all like it has been burnt or can you still see a good deal of gray color? My old turbo got really dark cause it was getting to hot when i had that issue. Also how many miles.

    Tranny Fluid Question

I used the penz. Synchromesh 3 liters of it. Works pretty nice. It goes into gear much quicker now esp on the downshift. Good luck.

    Tranny Fluid Question

I can't tell you the exact reason but no LSD additive for MSPs Also you will want a hand pump and a 24mm socket to get the plug off. The hand pump is to pump the gear oil back up into the tranny it is kinda high and a PITA to get too!

    Insurance Question...

Mine is 81 a month. I tried to tell them it was a turbo car, but that was back in Jan of 2003. They couldn't find a mazdaspeed so it is listed as a normal protege.

Specific Abs Question (not A Repost)

zmzmp5 sorry don't have the answer and will stop jacking your thread. d_stickney I believe if you pull the E-Brake while you have your foot on the brake you will stop yes. However, if ABS is enabled your braking system will freak out cause it can't unlock your rear brakes cause you manually...
