class D is more efficent like servo said. but they dont sound as good. for a sub they work great. you can not even tell the difference.

IMO metal tweets are way better. I agree if they are cheap speakers the metal tweets can sound like s***, but if you get a nice set of speakers the metal tweets are so clear and defined. they are amazing. I will use my focal utopias for an example. they sound awesome. not to bright at all...

that is basically what I did also. made an adapter that would bring the speaker away from the winder. I then also had to trim my door panel. same as servo did. plus the adapter not only moves the speaker out, but it makes it so you can but a round speaker in an oval hole. I also have pics...
