Only advice I think I can add is that a 16" rim will provide slightly faster speeds with slightly lower grip. The reverse is true for 17" it will provide slightly lower speed and slightly higher grip. This is obviously due to weight of rim and increased size of tire. Of course aftermarket 17"...
