Wow, that's a lot of mileage in a short time. 40k per year!
In addition to the good advice provided above, if you do get a mobile mechanic to do the PPI for you, also have them look at the condition of the interior, as well as the exterior paint. With mileage like that, I'd be worried about excessive wear on the seats, steering wheel, and any other surfaces that might be touched on a daily basis. I'd also want to be sure that all of the features and infotainment system is in good working order. Paint may also need to be looked at, specifically the front end (rock chips from possible highway travel).
Additionally, I'd do a bit more research on the 1st generation CX-9 as well, if you haven't already. The engine design can be problematic if (and that's a big IF) the water pump goes. I'm not sure if it would be a dealbreaker for you, it's just something to be aware of.
