Hello to all.
It has been awhile, but I hope everyone is doing well and healthy, your CX9 too.
Have a 2009 CX9 with 67K and the driver window has issues. I was quoted a dealer price to fix it of $569. They told me the plastic splines were worn and grinding. thus this explains that when I try to roll the window up, as it closes all the way and shuts, it makes a grinding sound.
I have always used the auto roll-up feature to where I had the window roll up and shut off by itself, so I cannot understand what went wrong?
Question, is there another option in your experience to fix this kind of problem? Getting into a window, for me, is unchartered territory, so I would prefer an option the problem being fixed by a pro w a much more reasonable cost.
THank you very much for your time and help,
