what to wear to first day at work

the lady said jeans are best but i dont own any jeans. and t shirts were alright she said now im just wondering if some of my shirts are inappropriate like my family guy ones and spiderman ones

Then you're all set pants-wise, unless there is a reason to wear jeans, like there is something in the work area that could easily ruin good pants. As far as the t-shirts are concerned, I would stick to plain shirts. The kind that guys who read too much GQ used to put on under a jacket. Well cut but comfortable. This is still a place of business. You can never go wrong looking good.
