What is this?

I don't know how to research this suspected "thing".

I am still working getting the car to run right. I have talked about a vacuum leak I'm another thread. I am just triple checking every single vacuum hose. In doing so, I found this "nipple" on the fire wall (passenger side). It was clean around the "nipple" as if something was connected. Anybody know what it is?

Nothing important, either a water drain for the HVAC system in the dash or a plastic retainer for the firewall insulation.

Definitely the evaporator drain. Just has the 90 boot missing.
