What is this button on top of fuel meter ?

I always wonder what is this button above fuel meter and what is the use of it ?(see attached screenshot)

If i remember correctly there are two one is for the tripometer and the other one is for the red light on the gauges to make it brighter or dimmer or to keep it bright all of the time.

It's the summer and if u push it...goes from day to night mode on instrument panel and interior lights

Did you not get an owners manual with your CX-9? If you did, read it, lots of good info in there.
