Vinyl decals/stickers...what do you think about these stripes?

I'm been wanting to do something to my CX-5 for quite a while now. I had thought about a complete wrap but the price was almost $4k. Then I thought about stripes or graphics. Most of what I found looked cartoonish and not what I wanted, but then saw these:

What do you guys think about them? And have you seen any other place that has graphics custom made for a cx-5. Also, my car is Silver...notice how none of the samples are on a silver car? I was thinking of ordering the red and black stripes.

I just want to do something to make my car look a little different then all the other silver cx-5's I see driving around

The side molding might be a nice accent to make you different and might safe you from a door ding or two along the way... Don't know where to have that done, but, seems someone on here had it done, didn't look bad.

Interesting idea, but you need to be careful you don't go "over the top" on this kind of thing (which some might say your example borders on). If you use one of these, I would only use the top part (delete the "racing/flag part), but IMO it might "over-highlight" a sculpture line that doesn't really need that treatment. What might look better is something to highlight the lower crease and bring the eye down visually. I did this on my last vehicle, a plain-Jane silver Nissan Frontier king cab and was pleased with the result. There are plenty of web sites that specialize in these generic graphic kits and, although it's unlikely you'll find something specific to the CX-5, you might come across something that will work.

Pin-striping looks ok on some vehicles but, even then it has to be done right or it looks cheesy.

I say:
No to the CX-5 or similar S/CUV.
Yes to a 1970 Hemi Cuda.

4K for car wrap thats too much. maybe they gave u 3M but 3M itself for the sticker will only cost 1K for whole car wrap. or you can opt in for ORACAL which is much much cheaper

Have Fun (nana)(nana)(nana)

Stock it's nicer. You only need, subtle mods done to this nice car. Think of it as a pretty girls face, you have to add something to it, to be nice?
