Upgrading to LEDs

I have decided to upgrade my 2002 Protege ES to LED "bulbs". I am having trouble getting to the upper brake light in the spoiler and the license plate lights. Is there a way to get to the light in the spoiler without removing the spoiler? It seems that a screwdriver will almost do it but I cannot get a good hold of the screws. Also, can I get to the license lights from the back or do I loosen the trim on the outside?

Next will be the instrument panel.

need a 90 degree screwdriver to remove the lens. Any auto parts store should have them.
