unknown exhaust rattle/vibration

after installing a magnaflow catback on my p5, ive notice a loud vibration type sound coming from around the second cat. when installing we did have to bang on the original bolts at the 2ndcat/resonator location quite a bit in order to remove them. anyone know what this could be?

Hrm, I'm not too sure but I'd say:

- Check fitment again.
- Check exhaust hangers
- Check engine mounts.

i forgot to mention that it only occurs right at 3k rpms.

If its only a rattle then it could be a loose heatshield... had the same issue.

how are your MM....could be flexing and vibrating against the undercarrage

if its a rattle then its pinging, try to run a higher octane and see if that helps

nah it was a loose heat shield.
