Thoughts on the color scheme?

i had a buddy of mine paint my rims, we used a metallic gold base coat over a white primer, then added a kandy teal on top of that to get this color! its alot darker than what most think of when they think of teal but i love it and in the sun it looks amazing! compliments come daily but the only downside to this color is at night they look like a dark green or almost black.

paint inherently doesn't last long on wheels. Chips occur easily. Even powdercoat doesn't last all that long, but GL.

idk what kind of paint you use or who has painted for you but you apparently have had a bad experience, painting and powdercoating are both equal in strength yes but they do not chip very easily unless you hit a curb or go mudding, rocks and debris do not fly sideways into your vehicle so they will last as long as i have them as long as i keep them clean!
