The Official Mazda2 Wheel Thread

hadnt seen those before.. looks good.. will look even better once you drop it. I think springs should be your next mod.. if you can afford it.. get the corksport combo

Hmm...I may be able to afford it in a few months...we'll see. I need to get some new tires pretty soon, so I think I'll do that before I get new springs and struts/shocks.

What? No. Discount Tire Direct. They had a deal in February I took advantage of, and while the wheels won't be coming in for another couple of weeks I am still going to get the discounts and rebates.

Oh, ok. I was confused. :) Congrats! That's who i get my Konig's and TSW's by the way. ;)

Yes, yesssss. My 15x8 slipstreams are mounted and ready. The northeast isn't supposed to warm up for at least 2 weeks though. :-(

For us it still -15deg Celsius and lots of snow everywhere.

I'm saving up for wheels, I'm doing a lot of overtime and the house needs lots of stuff also so I need lots of overtime :)

I'm thinking of Kosei K1 15x7" 25+ offset, I thinking also of getting the Fatlace F/Zero2 15x8.5" 25+ offset instead of the K1's not sure of the fit with my p205/50R15.

I love the basic, clean design of the Koseis. 205 is as skinny a tire as I'd want to put on an 8" wide wheel here in Upstate NY. Besides not liking the stretched look, I have lost tires to damaged roads, even when conservatively sized for the wheel width. This winter has been so brutal, the roads are even worse than normal.

Good luck with the overtime, keep your eyes on the prize!

I ended up going with white rotas for my white 2 because I've always loved the look of the Honda Type R models: White on white. The slipstreams being a Spoon wheel design copy, further adds to the 'look' of the old school type R's.

Konig Lightspeed 15x7.5, +32 offset
Nitto Neogens, 205/50-15

I just might have to actually start a build thread here pretty soon.

They are nothing special, but look okay and they were cheap. Konig Heliums 6 1/2 x 15 40mm offset with 205/50/15 RE11a tires. I had a set years ago on a miata and they held up well. I really would have like a 7 or 7 1/2" wheel, but these cost me about $80 more than just putting 195/50/15 RE11s on the stock. Sorry for the crappy pics.
