Sub installation on 2010?

I have a 2010 mazda3 with bose system and I've read that it's more difficult to set up the subs along with an amp. To be honest, I'm new to anything audio related with cars. Is this possible without making everything "messy" with the wires. I wanted to keep my current speakers.
