Speaker Cyclic Test?

:
2016 CX-5 AWD Touring
I'm trying to determine if the tweeters on the dash are working. So I dived into the service menu (holding down Music-Fav-Mute), then code 94 shows "Speaker Cyclic Test", and then I'm not sure what to do next or if that's even what I'm looking for. I kinda assumed that it would work similar to a typical receiver: play each speaker for a few seconds, but it doesn't seem to be.

Looking for expert advices. Thanks.

If you're just trying to determine whether the dash speakers are working or not, why can't you just listen to it one by one? They are 3" mid-range Twiddlers so you can hear the sound from it even if it's from human's voice if it's working. If they are true tweeters which may be producing 15,000~20,000 Hz sound and you may not be able to here it.

I don't think they are true tweeters (as others have replaced them with DB351 for better high and clarity), and that's why I can't be sure if I'm hearing reflection of the door speakers or directly from the dash speakers. I can't get my head too close to them, not sure if the volume allocated to those dash speakers are just barely enough. Also, if they're not working, I need a clear-cut proof in order to complain to the dealer.

You should be able to hear the sound from these Bose OEM dash speakers. If you can't get your head close enough, try to use a big tube or a magazine making a tube to let the sound transmit to your ear better. If you really couldn't hear anything, you can always remove dash speaker grilles to expose these speakers. You can feel the vibration of the paper cone, or take them out and measure the ohms.

These OEM Bose dash speakers in CX-5 are 3" mid-ranger speakers. 3" DB351 is coaxial speaker with 1" tweeter at front.

Only Mazda6 Bose has 1" tweeter hidden beneath corner dash speaker grill:

And only Mazda CX-3 7-speaker Bose has both tweeters and subwoofer:

Yeah, I've been following those threads about upgrading speakers. Unfortunately mine is a non-Bose 6-speaker system so I don't really have a reference of how they sound individually (thus, would be great to assert their quality if we can listen to them individually). I thought from an engineering POV, Mazda would have some debugging feature in the service menu to troubleshoot individual speaker.

Honestly the system sounds fine to me (cranking treble+3 and bass+1), the road and wind noise interferes anyway (especially the low frequencies) so I don't see the point of upgrading them to higher quality, just want to make sure that they're working properly. The front door speakers (9"?) are good at pumping out decent bass, but the bass is almost non-existent in the back row (5"?). I was trying to see if I can stash a low profile sub below the back row seats, but too lazy about wiring and power supply calculation. In the end, I've learned to bring the Grado with me when I have to wait in the car for a while :)
