Rubber trim along side of car... Question/idea help

I am thinking about removing the long rubber trim peices from the side of my car. I think it might give the stock fender flares more depth? Has anyone ever done this? Im curious to what it looks like. I couldn't seem to find any pics online.

Lol thanks. Side moldings.. No wonder i couldnt find it. I kept searching rubber door things...

Definitely looks a lot cleaner without them. I've had mine off for 5 years now. Time flies.
