Quick question. Computer acting by itself...

I think the cordless mouse is behaving stupid on me. Say Im typing a post when all of the sudden it highlights a part of the screen or drops the right click menu on me or takes me back one pages AS IM TYPING the post. WTF!?

could it be that the mouse is sending accidental commands to the wireless receiver or something with the batteries??

take the batterties out of the mouse and try it, if it doesnt happen its the mouse

if it is the mouse the batteries might be getting low

Just replaced the batteries...same crap. its getting irritating! lol

Try a different mouse would be my suggestion.

Could be some dust on the light. Small hair or something. I use a wireless mouse at work and sometimes the screen will roll up. I think it might be the mouse cuts power to save the batteries, if not being used after a small period of time. (dunno)

check to see if your control and/or alt keys are stuck down.. that may be the issue.
