I just installed a set of Eibach springs along with the Tokico struts. The thing is when I installed them I forget to put the rubber part back on the bottom of the spring. I am talking about the peice that goes between the strut and the spring on the bottom.

My question is, do I need to have that part in there? Its kinda a pain in the @$$ to get at again, so I would rather not have to put it back, but I will if it absolutly has to be in there.

Thanks

Yes, you need to put it back in. It is needed to make sure the spring seats properly on the strut body, and does not move around. I would think it would also make a lot of noise.

I agree with pensfan....you must put those back in. How did you even get the spring to seat right when putting it in?? You should have some major noise when driving.
