Problem with Luxury Package & Centerpoint

I've had my CX-7 GT (with Luxury Package) for two days now. I also test drove a model with the LP. I wasn't able to get the Centerpoint system to work on either vehicle. I've tried following the manual - it says to press the right hand button until "centerpoint" appears on the display, then turn the button to select one of the 5 options. When I turn the button nothing happens (nothing happened on the test drive vehicle either) - both would not switch from the "Centerpoint Off" setting. Very frustrating and weird that this is the second vehicle this has happened on. Anyone else?

problem solved (I think)

Well as the saying goes RTM (read the f'n manual). I dug a little deeper into the manual and discovered hidden in the Navigation Package section the following: Centerpoint is only available in CD mode. Centerpoint is not available for AM or FM broadcasts

Too bad they didn't add this disclaimer to the Luxury Package section.
