Advanced Keyless entry issue…Any ideas? 2020 CX-5

Have been having an issue with the advanced keyless entry on my 2020 CX-5, normally it works well but every once and a while I press the button and nothing happens. No matter how many times I press the button it won't unlock/lock the vehicle, once I use the keyfob to lock or unlock the vehicle the button works fine again. Any ideas what could be happening?

Remember when you used to be able to just replace the key for a couple bucks?

OP,
Sounds like bad contact on the door handle button, but please check battery inside the fob first.
