Thank you -- they really do look much better in black. The silver is so garish by comparison, and for a very minimal amount of time and money (1.25 cans, probably on the order of $13) it's a no-brainer.

finally got it mostly blacked out . all i got left is tail lights and roof rack i need to paint black .

plasti dipped back emblem and front chrome peace under the grill . painted front grill M and TINTED the the reflectors on the back bumper {not paint or plasti dip } . gonna have my buddy dip the roof racks so i dont have to use cans of dip . probably do my other cars roof at the same time . time to do interior glow kit today and amp line converter tomorrow so i can add a amp for my sub .

No difference. Closes exactly like a stock hood. No unexpected bumps and gaps.

The ghost lights? I sell those. Drilled them into the underside of the door panels.

Hey People!

Just picked up a 2014 Mazda CX-5 GT /with Tech, and man i'm loving this car. Fully loaded, extremely fun to drive.

I just went through every post in this thread and a lot of you guys have really made this ride look amazing. I'm wondering if anyone may know though... as the 2016 GT model now has LED headlamps but the body looks as if it has not changed much... if at all. Does anyone know if the front headlamps and rear tail lights from the 2016 GT fit on the 2014 GT?

It would be awesome to just make the swap. (keeping in mind the different balasts for the LED's instead of the HID's)

Alot of guys here said the new taillight fit the older model and its plug and play
the led headlight has different socket.

I put on the OEM Front and Rear Mud Flaps last night. They look good.

There was a step that I had to cut out a piece of the splash shield on my car and it hurt me inside. Thank god it all installed perfectly.
