no power to fuel pump after motor change

its a 93 escort with a 91 protege motor the BP so the fuel pump has no main power with ign on or cranking over i put wires from batt to pump yes its good also checks fuel cut off switch its good ,also changed relay still nothing also the eheck engine light does not come on now with ign on so that means ecu has no power right ? but when u spray carb clener in intake it will start for a sec this is a bpt motor also known as a 89 mazda gtx what in the engine compartment can possable stop the fuel pump from getting power ? heres a pic .

the only thing that missing is the hose from the charge pipe to the iac and no coolant but i just wanted it to fire for some closure the fuel pump lines are completely open and its a new walbourogh 255 lph pump .

the problem is the main relay is not powered. You need a volt meter, a wiring diagram and a beer or three.

Also check the main fuel injection fuse in the fuse box under the hood...
