Hi,
Just joined the Mazda forum. Own a 2008 copper red MX-5, pics to follow. Was considering a Ford Mustang but the Mazda is so much more refined and functionally advanced I just could not do it. We also own a 2008 Honda Pilot and my wife thinks it is as boring a dirt. It is safe, reliable, etc. but we are seriously considering a Mazda CX 9 to replace it for reasons those who know can guess. Have heard/read rumors of a diesel in the CX 9 in 2014 and that would be our first choice.
