Lol Jeff, I loked out the phone and was like what? 2010??

Ordered another Nexus 5x. Hopefully 3rd time is the charm.

Re-plastidpped the wheels again. Autox on Sunday in AL. Hopefully next week will get to repaint the calipers, this time Red.

Nope. [emoji20] U stayed up until just after midnight hoping to snag one from Bestbuy. After refreshing the page for 10 minutes and it still saying "coming soon", I went to bed. Woke up in the morning and the site said "sold out". Id like to know when they offered the damn things! Target had a line of about 35 people waiting for doors to open. Heard they only got six units. Went to Gamestop and was second in line when clerk announced he just sold the last one. Tried at 5pm on Amazon but had no luck. Ill keel checking for sure.

Local tatoo parlor owner snagged 2 of 12 at the local Walmart at midnight. Said he waited in line for 2hrs. Somehow he snagged a third later in the day at a different Gamestop.

I refuse to pay more than retail! Lol

lol. I might just do the same but buy two. One to keep and one to sell. If I'm feeling really feisty, I'll buy three. Then I can hook one up in my bedroom and harass, I mean play with my son and his friends online. haha

Had a blast at the autox on Sunday but only placed 18th out of 40. The track was long and fast which favoured the higher powered cars. Spent most of the time in 3rd gear which, for most of the tracks I run, isn't normal.

Another autox tomorrow, probably the shortest track I will run this year.

You need to get those new wheels and tires. How much of a difference do you feel the setup you are looking for would have made on that course?

Like the hood and recessed trunk!!! The new trunk lid would get rid of the shark fin too!

Glad I could help. Haha. The recessed trunk looks great and does remove sharkfin but youd lose the Club spoiler also.

went out to Mount Rainier yesterday to play in some snow! So tired of the constant rain so we made the call to drive 2.5 hours to just see something different for a few hours

Not sure but they ain't happening this year.

Ran another autox last Sunday with a Porsche Club and had a blast. Beat everyone, had a great battle with a 911. Looking for another local autox.

3rd phone finally came and it WORKS.

So I had an issue the other day. Driving back home the clutch pedal went to the floor, no clutch. After some pumping of the clutch pedal, I was able to get the clutch to work again. Jacked the car up and checked both the slave and master. No leaks or damage and no change in the fluid levels.

Clutch seems to be back to it's normal self. I checked the archives on Miata.net and when a similar issue appeared it was found that people replaced both the master and slave, unfortunately proving nothing for me.

Ideas?

I never found any active leaks on mine, which IIRC indicated the master was bad. The slave's only real failure mode is a leak (which would usually result in its dust boot filling with fluid). Mine also fluctuated between "fine" and "I guess I'm learning how to shift a manual without the clutch today!" for a while.

Most people replace the Master and Slave together for the same reason that you'll usually replace a water pump when the timing belt is changed (or vice versa). You're doing the same amount of work to do either / or, so you might as well do both while you're there. They're both known failure points that will likely fail in the near-term future and necessitate you re-doing all that work.

Thanks for the info Andrew. Ordered both the master and slave plus some other parts from Mazda Motorsports. Change out the master and keep the slave as a backup.
