Hello Everyone,

I'm one of the co-founders of a Ford Focus website called FocusFanatics. Over the last few months I've been working with Antoine to setup and organize a joint Mazda & Ford event this summer.

Our intent is to create a huge event this year by bringing our communities together as well as reinforce the Ford and Mazda relationship. There will be a car show & drag racing event, food, awards, raffle and prizes. We're also having a dinner cruise and caravan after the event as well as a night time part at the hotel.

Yes sir, its a joint forum event. So whatever we do, we do it together. This is including the car show as well.(thumb)

The event is not to far from where I live. I will think about it and hopefully be able to get off from work to go.

Actually we're updating the show classes and I will udpate it in a bit.

Depending on how many Mazda's register we may have a seperate show classes for Mazdas. This way you guys can have 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Judging Schedule:
- Car Show Setup 09:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Car Show Judging Begins 10:00 AM and ends at 01:00 PM
- Awards Ceremony & Prize Drawings 05:00 PM

Rules:
1) Cars must be parked and ready to be judged by the start of the show.
2) Once parked, car must stay parked until all cars have been judged.
3) If doors, trunk, or hood is closed and not able to be judged minimal points will be assigned
4) If participant is not present at the time of judging we will not open the car, we will simply judge what we can see.
5) If playing music, please keep the volume at a reasonable level.
6) Tie breakers are decided by the juding panel.
7) Be sure to talk to the judges to let us know what you want us to taking into consideration.
8) Custom work is a plus, the better the work the better the score.
9) There are only a handful of judges, if we have not judged your car by 03:00 PM then let a judge or staff member know by coming to the main FocusFest booth.

Score Card what we’re Looking For: (Not all inclusive)

Exterior:
- Paint: Clean even paint overall. No Chips or Fading. Custom paint, quality and finish.
- Wheels/Brakes/Suspension: Clean and well maintained. No dirt. Aftermarket Brakes, Suspension and wheels. Free of curb rash. Overall look.
- Body: Fitment and finish. Body Kits, Lip Kits. No parts falling off. Must fit properly.

Interior:
- Craftsmanship/Custom Work: Upgrades and interior swaps. Quality of work. Cleanliness, Functionality. Correctly installed and working parts.
- Audio/Video: Clean set up. Must be functional. Custom work.

Engine Bay:
- Cleanliness: Clean and free of oil spills or splash marks. No loose, cut or frayed wires.
- Engine Swap/Power adders: Bolt-on, Turbo, SC, Nitrous etc.
- Dress Up: Wire Tucks, Deletes, Covers, painted/powder coated pieces.

Hatch/Trunk:
- Cleanliness, features, use of space. Custom work.

Display:
Interior/Exterior: Trophies, photos of build, specs board, other info, accessories, etc


Loudest Focus Sound Off

Big Body will be running the sound off for the loudest Focus competition. James is actually a world champion in audio competition and has the loudest car that I have ever sat in. We will be running a Term Lab meter. This competition will be done at the same time as the car show. This will be a mobile meter that we will bring from car to car on a crash cart. If you are not present at the time come to your vehicle you will be skipped ( time is limited).

- If you do not have your own music, we can provide it for you
- 4 minutes per car max
- 2 attempts. Your loudest standing score will be recorded
- We will be running USACI style metering (in the kick panel).
- The loudest overall score wins

We're also doing a fundraiser to help out with medical expenses for a fellow member and marine who was paralyzed in an automobile accident while stationed overseas.

Any amount is greatly appreciated and your name will be featured on a card that is to be presented to him and his family.
