M5 liftgate latch switch location?

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with rear liftgate warning light. When it's open or not closed properly no warning light on a dash, unlike the side doors. Cargo light doesn't work as well. I tried to look for latch switch, like a rubber knob around the edges of liftgate opening, like some of my previous car had, but no luck.
Does anyone know where where it might be?
I just want to check it before I take the whole car apart

The switch is built into the latch assembly the same way the doors are. You'll have to access the latch from inside the hatch by removing the plastic access cover of the lower portion of the hatch interior panel.
