After they fix your car - you should talk to their insurance and get a Diminished Value Claim in as well. Basically a claim saying now your car resale will not be same as excellent.
A friend in office had his Toyota Highlander rear ended - he got $ 3500 as DVC.

Dont let it go. Also get letters from your employer for every day you spend in this - times your rough hourly salary rate.
