Help me find a shift knob

Hmmm. After a little search, I see that the B&M and GReddy counterweight fit together. How much thread did you cut off?

They do? Mine went in about 4 or 5 turns then stopped...Can't go any further.

i have about 1/4 left...and its not quite even at the top, so i def need a universal.

have you considered getting a non-cut shift lever? you could probably get a used one cheap

kartboy knob. . . .there should still be enough useable thread to screw it on

small, brushed Al, and round. . .fits your requirements

i dont want to take the chance on anything but universal....looks like im going to have to get another damn momo knob.

i love my black voodoo knob. it was really cheap and it is high quality and really nice looking. they are made for miatas but they have the same thread pitch as the protege. try brainstorm performance. they are miata specialists and that is where i bought my voodoo knob from. they have everything from chrome, polished, textured and powdercoated knobs and pistol grip styles.

edit: they fit our shifters thread

yeah me too (ugh) lol
turf was suppsed to make some but I think it got side tracked. there is a thread of his floating around. maybe you can get it started again.

looks like im going to have to go with momo again. they are such junk for the money. i have to say that the momo i got was one of my most disappointing mods for the money. for almost 90 dollars shipped, you think it wouldnt have been such junk.

it wont screw on because i have the bm shifter not stock, and about 3/4 of the thread is cut off.

i need a universal knob though.

well, I forgot which model I got from Razo, but it looks like the one in the link. The one I got comes with a rubber that u screws onto the inside of the knob, and you screw the whole knob onto the shifter regardless wuts ur thread pitch is. Kinda like make your on thread in the knob. Which makes it universal?

what about this one? it looks like the momo, but it's cheap as hell and universal. someone else had it here and said they liked it. it's made by pilot. for 17.99, i think it's worth a try
