How can a 2012 MZ5 have 39,000 miles on it already, I have a 2010 and only have 29,0000 miles. MZ5 must be a hot commodity rental car these days.

But I would not worry about these miles, I bet those are mostly highway, so it's really like having 20,000 miles if you ask me, well hopefully, and the best of luck with it.

Oh I forgot this is a mpg thread. Only 2 full tanks so far, 20mpg and 21.5mpg, 80/20 city/hwy.

i'm guessing because Los Angeles is soo spread out, and the tourist that comes here to Souther California, usually want to travel up and down the coast, miles rack up pretty fast. at least thats my theory for now.

Well haven't posted in a while, since I started this thread.

Our 2012 Mazda 5, just turned 18,000 miles. Been getting 27MPG lately.


Lots of the HERTZ cars have high miles, because the 2012 mazda 5 came out so early, that hte model year isn't indicative of when it was sold.

Bought mine new, has 45k on it now. Averaged 28 so far; not bad and I'm happy. I'll keep it to 150k if it lasts that long.
