Hi, I have been lurking on the forum for quite a while. I am considering a CX5 and here in Florida there are still 17's to be had. (There are Grand Selects mixed in with a few Tourings and quite a few GT's.) The dealers seem to have a lot of 17 Grand Selects that are Certified with 6K to 10K miles on them. From what I read, they lack some of the electronic features but are otherwise similar to GT's. So, please help me understand why so many have been traded in so soon after purchasing. Thanks, Super90.

I drove a Grand Select as a service loaner while I was getting my oil changed a few months ago. I'm guessing most of them ended up as just that: service loaners.

Thanks for the replies everyone and Chris, it does sound like a hamburger. I didn't think about lease cars or loaners but am surprised at how many there seem to be. My fave would be a touring with cloth seats. I have had leather in several cars and they are HOT here in Florida. Thanks again, Tim
