Hi there,
New here, my name is Frank
I drive a Mazda mpv 2liter exectuvi.
Got enginecode fs-de
My question is
Does the FS gearbox fro
An mazda 626 (non HP version) fit on my block? (is the bellhousong the same or do i need to change more than.a simple swap of gearbox/trany?

Right now rev's are 3400 @ 120kph/70mph, while an non hp tranny of 2liter runs about 2900rpm @ 120kph/70mph
So changing the tranny should give more comfort on highway and maybe a bit better mpg.

Forgot to mention
Gearbox ratios are
Current gearbox ratio : 4,59:1 (final ratio)
626 2liter gearbox ratio : 3,62:1 (final ratio)

Transmission for an FS-DE engine from a Mazda 626, Protege, or MX6 will fit your engine. I have no idea what the gear ratios are in those cars.
