Fixing paint surface on spoiler

I might try this paint, they have a yellow called "sunburst yellow", what are the odds. I used this same paint for my key trim and rear valance (but in gloss black) and it worked really well. Plus it's easily available at Wal-Mart.

I wonder if it would be better to try to repaint the yellow and then clear coat or just sand down the top layer of the current paint and reclear that.

Why don't you go to an auto body supply shop, get them to make you a custom spray bomb of the factory colour, instead of screwing around with paint that will probably look like s*** because it will be a poor match.
Custom bomb will probably run about twenty bucks
 
yeah and it is a single stage just da it with 400 that will make it look really nice
