Exhaust Fell Apart

So I'm driving home yesterday and my car al of a sudden sounds like it has a race exaust. I check under the bady and sure enough the exhaust broke in 2 right before the first cat.

At least it's covered by warranty, but it still shouldn't happen. I guess that's Ford quality for us. You think an Acura's exhaust falls apart from a shity weld...I doubt it.

Exacty as i was thinking. But it is covered under warranty, so I'll have them fix it up for now.

i've heard of the apex dp coming apart at the welds, but this is the first time i've heard of a stock pipe breaking.

get yourself a ghl dp and some catback and be happy.

What does Ford have to do with it? I thought our exhaust was "aftermarket", since it's part of the whole upgrade when the car gets to port....i.e; turbo, wheels, shocks etc.

Several have broken there, mine did in a drive thru...talk about noisy! At least I got a new assembly with two new cats out of it.
