So I have been having problems for a while, and I have been slowly trying to figure out what is going on. I have looked through this site over a few times and tried some of the things others tried.
So here is whats happened.
I started the car up one day, and it was a rough idle, and missfiring, (gave me code P0300). I shut her down immidiately, and looked through the engine found nothing, tried starting up, and same thing. I went home grabbed my tools, and when I got back it started fine, and drove great.
A few weeks later same thing. The problem started to happen more often. I change the PVC valve and things seemed to be better, then driving home one day it missfired and coded again. This was the first time that it was not on startup. It coded P0300, and P2006 this time. I checked for vacuum leaks, and it doesn't seem to leak. I used throttle body cleaner, taking off the VTCS and VICS. The problem seems to keep returning, but not all the time.
Any suggestions?
