Does anybody make reverse wiring harness / ECU plugs

That is, plugs that simulate the ones that are on the ECU itself. Kind of like a reverse stereo harness. I think this would help a lot, then you could just splice a haltech harness to the plugs, and plug into the existing harness. Otherwise I guess I'd just go to a junkyard and cut an existing harness.

Ask Perf and Wagner since they're making a plug and play harness. They are the only ones trying this and thus the only ones that can probably answer your question.

Otherwise, just search for EEC V wiring harnesses, maybe you'll find something. The ecu shell is all Ford baby, so it is the same as the mustangs, tbirds, crown vics, etc.

Let us know if you find something.

Eh, well, their applications won't work for my older OBDI ECU. I was hoping it'd be something simple, like, get a scoshe reverse harness for your stereo. Older Ford Escort might work though. (peep)

Yea, I thought that would be nice to offer as a product...

A half foot section of wire....one end would be a Male stock ecu connecter...then 6 inches of REPLICA stock wire(same colors and all), then on the other end a Female stock ecu connecter..This way, people could wire in all types of systems, and make them somewhat "PnP" and clean up their wiring..My wiring is damn clean already, but this would help out alot!

Anybody every find this? It is exactly what I'm looking for to wire in the MPI Tuner.

Quick question: Would it be possible to get the harness from a wrecked Protege/P5/MP3 and wire it up as a PnP harness? There would at least have to be wires in the same pinout locations.

Peace...(hippy)

Unfortunately that will likely be the closest you'll get right now, but it won't be that easy.

I don't believe Perfworks and Wagner are going to sell the harness any time soon.

What do the plugs look like? Pictures if you got any. I work in the wire harness business and I might be able to get samples or at least contacts on where to buy the plugs.

They are the EECV harness plugs found in all of the proteges, and even some fords(mustands) i believe)
