2007~2015 CX-9 Bumper swap

Hello everyone. I have a 2012 cx9 and need to change the front bumper. Ive been through all the threads here and haven't gotten an answer as to if the bumper from the 07-09 style will mount to the 2012. Idc about the difference in looks just need it to mount. Has anyone gon through with it? Ive see ppl ask about it but never got a clear yes or no, nor have they stated if they did indeed try. Any information is really appreciated, thanks guys!

Toby,

I assume you meant the bumper cover. I don't have a definitive answer here but looking at photos online, the 2007-2009 and 2010-2012 bumper covers are grouped separately. The top end looks similar but the the openings for the fog lamps are certainly different in size and orientation.

Im not worried about the fog lamps, just trying to find out if it will mount on the car properly. Im having a hard time finding a bumper cover for 2010 to 2012 but i can find the older model bumper. But i don't want to buy it until ik it will fit lol.
