Curt Hitch fit question

Hello...just had local hitch shop install Curt Hitch w/Mazda harness on my '13 CX9. Install looks find but there's nearly an inch gap between bumper cover and top of hitch. For clearance purposes I wanted to know if they can raise it higher/more snug. Can these be done and is there room to do this with bolt holes? Thanks.

The bolt hole pattern is pretty set on the frame and brackets for the hitch. To see another pro-install you can look at e-trailer's website where they have a video and step by step guide. From the pictures, it does look like the Curt hitch sits differently than the HiddenHitch/Reese/DrawTite options, but I don't know if that translates into more gap:

I have a 2007 with Curt, which I installed myself, and IIRC there's no way to move the hitch up or down.

OK guys....thanks for the replies. I'm happy with the look, quality, and style. Was just hoping to get it a little higher for more clearance.
