I'm almost positive that on a Protege, a 35 series tire is pretty much a must on wheels that are 8" wide -- that is, if you want to lower and don't want to have rub or roll your fenders.
+45 offset, 215/35/18 tires. But the tires I have are more 'meaty' and aggressive when compared to the normal 35 series tire, hence the 215 versus 225. I didn't want to chance any rub.Koenig said:what's the offset of your wheels, and what size tires are you rolling on?
225/35/18 ??
I'm pretty sure you kinda need to go with 225 .. since the RX-8 rims are 8" wide, aren't they? Cause I have 215 on my wheels that are 7.5" wide.GhostMercury said:with the rx8 rims should i stick with a 215 or can i go 225? im going to get the pirada spec II's by yokohama
