Are ALL MP5/MSP/MP3/Protege Sedan Mounting/Suspension pieces identical?

Hi All,
We are planning to purchase Tein coilovers within the next month or so, but we DO NOT want to dissassemble our current shock/strut assemblies.

What I'm hoping to do is purchase the upper shock mounts (and relevant hardware) from a junkyard to be used with the Teins....

So my question is.....Can I purchase this stuff for ANY 99+ Protege? Or do I have to find these shock mounts specific to the Protege 5....

Thanks!
J.J.

I don't know if the 99-2000 protege's are any different, but any 2001+ protege/pro5/mp3/msp should work.

Thanks for the response! Has anyone ACTUALLY confirmed this with their own Protege?

Thanks!

the MSP's front upper strut mounts have stiffer rubber bushing
the MP3 and MSP have different (I think shorter) bump stops
all the other unmentioned hardware are the same

Thanks! So I should be able to get these parts off of a Protege LX or ES?

I'm always amazed by how much you know about this car!

Thanks again!
