Id love to see some pics of a mp5 out in the dirt! i took mine out the other day to screw around and it was fun but i didnt have a camera with me.

Ok, sliding around on dirt. Check.

Camera. Check. I'm still with you.

Now...how exactly do you get pictures of your car....when you're driving?

setup in-car video.

the nearest SCCA Rallycross to me is in TN. I'd love to, but my suspesion is setup for the streets. Maybe one day....

my dad and his buddies used to rally race. I've always wanted to do it myself. I did some mucking about in the desert washes in my ford escort but thats about it.

Eric Burmeister (SN: Lurch) used to run an MP3 in SCCA ProRally. He now runs a 3. Search for his screenname and you'll find lots of info/pics.

I did a rally cross in my car before I did any suspension work or I went turbo. I had an absolute blast and the car was very competitive. I only did it once cause I can't drive to TN all the time for the events and it seemed really bad for the car. Here's some pics of me slingin some dirt. (glare)

I'm half embarrased to admit it, but that was me this weekend in ATL. I run k-sport coilovers, AWR 21 mm rear sway bar (full stiff setting) and AWR endlinks all around.

Now, here comes the racing excuses: (ugh)
This was the first time I'd run since the beginning of August (since the Clemson Sports Car Club lots our lots for the fall) and the car was setup for the summer heat. I was on hankook road race compound tires and I had an aweful time trying to get heat into them this weekend. Once the rear tires warm up I don't oversteer nearly so bad. I should have softened the rear to curb some of the oversteer, slowed down more, and/or gotten a co-driver. I'm also planning on dialing in a little more rear camber. That was honestly the worse race I've had in almost a year, but thats what I get for being out of practice. Anyways, I had a great time in ATL and will be back for more. I look forward to meeting more of the protege people there next time.

. I came up and introduced myself early on in the day. How much boost are you running? That thing sounded really quiet...

Yeah, I remember talking with you. You co-drove the black MSP? I'm running the stock 8 psi for the hiboost kit along with a magnaflow exhaust. I bought the magnaflow because it was quiet. Helps keep it a little more sleeper. How did you guys end up doing on sunday?

2nd and 3rd in DS out of 4 lol. We're both newb-ish, so we're workin on it :)
