Android Auto does not work properly (2024 CX-5)

It only recognizes "hey google," but nothing after it such as "call someone," or "go to the airport." etc. the phone is a brand new Samsung S23 ultra.
Before I used the new Samsung phone, I used an old iPhone 6S Plus, which worked fine with the car. But it was traded in and replaced by the S23.
I deleted the paired iPhone, and paired the Samsung phone. I deleted all data and caches in the android auto app. Still no luck.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to fix this issue?

Try deleting AA app from the phone, restart the phone, and download app again.

Merry Christmas everyone update woke up to a Christmas miracle, I decided to see if maybe my a car would decided to link to my phone it did took about 11 days for the app to finish the cancelation process and I was able to add my car and everything is working normal again.
