I don't have my '14 yet, but I've been thinking about another way to mount the front plate lower down so it's not in the center of the grill. I found this: http://skenedesign.com/FPBracket/index.shtml . Thinking about putting the plate mount somewhere in the lower opening. Not sure if this would seriously affect engine cooling. I don't care for the off center mounts. What do you guys think?

Don't block that lower opening, that's where most of your air is coming from.
I just got my plates for my new 3 and I'm trying to decide what to do here as well. I'm in TX and they require the front plate too and I really don't want to put it in the middle of the front. Rvoll, where did you find the frame you got? Really curious how that would turn out and may try something like that or go for an offset mount.
