Air bag defect

I am finding no mention of the airbag controversy anywhere; Mazda has been repeatedly been listed as having deployed the defective air bag. Anyone have any information?

What is this airbag controversy you speak of? My brother's has been flashing since he bought it and tomorrow I'm going to check the harness under the driver's seat and hope it's as simple as it being unplugged or loose. What is the exact airbag issue you're referring to?
